江戸時代の武士はIntelligentsiaという感じですが、それ以前の武士はOutlawです。 別物と思った方が良いです。自決は恥の文化ってのが大きいですし、騎士の方は（宗教が同じなら）基本殺さずに身代金のやり取りで済ますってのが多かったはずなので
確かに江戸時代は武士が少なかったのですが、理不尽に拷問されたり死罪になったりと政治支配なイメージです。新撰組は最後の武士でしたっけ？私はoutlawの武士に憧れているので、自決は日本の武士道を大きく体現していると思います！ 特にoutlaw な鎌倉武士は私達にとってのロマンです
