When I returned to my hometown for the first time in a while, the scenery was just as I remembered it. Old telephone poles, store signs lining the eaves, and rain-soaked asphalt.
She walks down a quiet street with an umbrella. It brings back memories of running around here when I was little. Back then, I played in the rain without worrying about it, and my mother scolded me.
When I stopped and looked back, I saw an unchanging landscape spread out in the distance. But something is different. Maybe it's because I've become an adult, or maybe it's because the city has changed little by little.
