I provided a description of the uniform along with instructions using simple Japanese prompts. While the prompts were simple, I did need to include specific Kyudo terminology—such as *ashibumi* (foot placement)—to guide the AI. It seemed to grasp the concepts well, resulting in a magnificent form that correctly executed the sequence: "facing the target, setting the grip (*torikake*), raising the bow (*uchiokoshi*), drawing smoothly (*hikiwake*), holding the full draw (*kai*) for a few seconds, and executing a clean release (*hanare*)." That said, I suspect that using Kyudo terminology helped filter out nonsensical shooting poses, leaving only textbook-perfect form. The background proved more challenging; the AI would often place the target area in the background even when she was shooting toward the right. After adjusting the prompt several times and generating over a dozen images using the "low" and "medium" quality settings in gpt-image-2/edit, these are two of the final four images that achieved a coherent, appropriate background.
