Scene
Steam rises softly in the kitchen at night.
Illuminated by a golden glow, the counter displays a lineup of familiar favorites—Chicken Ramen, Miso, Soy Sauce, Salt, and Demae Iccho—arranged with the stately presence of a specialty shop’s menu.
At the center, Lady Luna lifts her chopsticks, her gaze dropping to scrutinize every detail—the sheen of the noodles, the aroma, the richness of the broth, and how well the toppings harmonize.
Careless remarks like "It's just instant noodles, so they're all the same" would never be tolerated in her presence.
The precise timing for dropping in an egg.
Butter and corn for the Miso.
Nori seaweed and bamboo shoots for the Soy Sauce.
Sesame seeds and vegetables for the Salt.
That final, aromatic touch for the Demae Iccho.
Though these are dishes meant to be ready in mere minutes, the atmosphere grows strangely tense when Lady Luna turns her attention to them.
Her chef-like attire—black and white accented with gold—retains her usual noble air while making her look every bit the master of this kitchen.
Each time her violet eyes narrow through the rising steam, that ordinary bowl inches closer to perfection.
"It's cheap, so it doesn't matter."
"It's quick, so a sloppy job is fine."
With every bowl, Lady Luna quietly refutes such notions.
Finally, she lifts the noodles with her chopsticks to show them off, a hint of a triumphant smile playing at the corner of her mouth. Luna's Words
"Huh? You think all instant ramen tastes the same?
...Are you cutting corners with your sense of taste, too?"
"Chicken Ramen has its own perfected form, you know—
and miso, soy sauce, and salt flavors all have completely different aromas and lingering notes."
"Even Demae Iccho can be transformed into something amazing with just one final touch."
"Listen up: 'easy' and 'half-assed' are two different things."
"Honestly...
I guess I have no choice—I'll make you the ultimate bowl."
"I-It's not like I'm trying to get you to say it's delicious or anything!
...But if you leave any behind, I seriously won't forgive you. 💛"
