[Story] This scene takes place during Kaori’s stay in Jerusalem. Escorted by two companies from the Israeli Central Command—led by Major Limor—Kaori and her group entered Jordan in the dead of night. After being welcomed by the King at the border office, they traveled with him to the ruins of a church on Mount Nebo, which was being guarded by a company of the Jordanian Armed Forces. Following this, they were resuscitated using an AED and chest compressions, and subsequently taken into custody. [Commentary] I originally intended to depict the interception of an incoming RPG-7 rocket, but GPT Image 2.5 insisted on rendering the rocket too close to the subjects—it simply wouldn't place it 300 meters away as intended. I had to pivot to a scene showing the first three combatants being struck by divine retribution. Even then, achieving the desired layout proved difficult and quite costly. This is one of four generated images that I found just barely acceptable. Those delivering the divine retribution—channeling the power of the spirits—include Kaori (in shrine maiden attire), Assistant Inspector Aika (attached to the Sun God Police Station), and Junko and Shiori (attached to the Imperial Palace Police’s Saio unit). The characters have not yet been fully fleshed out in terms of detailed design.
